This page is the contract between you and the operator of The Pokies. It applies to every numbered mirror of the brand. Creating an account, depositing, claiming a bonus or using the cashier is acceptance. If you do not accept these terms, do not register and do not play.

The rules that move money

Operator, website and definitions

The Website is the The Pokies service and every official numbered URL that reaches the same lobby. Exclusive rights in the site, the software and the design sit with the operator. You receive a licence to use the service, not ownership of any part of it.

The operator may use third-party payment processors and game studios. Their delays, outages and errors are not ours to guarantee.

Who may use the service

Nobody under 18 may use the site. If the legal gambling age where you live is higher, that higher age applies.

• We can ask for proof of age at registration, at withdrawal, or later.
• If the proof is missing, false or late, the account can be frozen or closed.
• You decide whether online gambling is lawful where you live. We do not claim an Australian licence.

• You play on your own behalf, not as a business, agent or nominee.

Example. A 17-year-old using a parent’s card is a breach even if the parent said yes. The account can be closed and winnings removed.

Registration and the account

Real-money play requires an account. The name, date of birth, address, email and phone must be true and must match the documents and payment instruments you use.

One account only. These all count as the same person / same environment:

• a second email on the same phone
• a partner’s login from the same house or Wi-Fi
• the same device opening a new numbered URL
• The Pokies 75 after a night on 76 — same database, not a new player

If we find extra accounts we can close all of them and void the transactions on them.

Example. You lose on 75, register on 86 with another email from the same laptop. That is a second account. Both logins can be shut and the 86 deposits reviewed.

Keep the password to yourself. Sharing it with a partner is still sharing. If the login has been disclosed we can close the account without refunding what sits on it. Tell us when personal or payment details change.

The player account is not a bank account. No deposit insurance, guarantee scheme or interest applies. We can set deposit and withdrawal limits under internal security policy.

Verification — what to send

If the papers are fake, recycled, misleading or unverifiable, we can hold the account, close it, and confiscate winnings.

Example. A utility bill in a flatmate’s name, or a selfie that does not match the passport photo, is not enough. The withdrawal stays queued until a matching set arrives.

Deposits

Only the methods listed in the cashier are accepted. They can change. Crypto rails we list carry no operator fee on those rails.

• Deposit from a card, wallet or crypto address in your own name.
• No friends, relatives, partners or spouses paying in for you.
• If the name on the method does not match the account, we have no liability on that payment.
• Do not reverse, deny or charge back a completed deposit to dodge a liability.
• Stolen cards, mule accounts and cancelled payments can mean extra documents, voided credits, recovered winnings, a closed account and a report to a bank or authority.
• Deposits generally have to be played through before they leave.

Example. A $200 deposit that is requested back an hour later with almost no play can be held as possible abuse until we see the activity and the KYC file.

Withdrawals

You may request a cash-out from the cashier when all of the following are true:

• deposits have cleared checks for illegal activity
• no payment has been revoked or cancelled
• the profile details are complete
• no bonus lock is sitting on the balance — or you have forfeited that bonus

We are not responsible for a bank delay, a wallet outage or blockchain congestion.

Example. A $12,000 balance is not one payment. $9,000 can go today; the rest waits for the next day unless we have agreed a higher cap.

Refunds — when they do not happen

• lost stakes after a session
• a change of mind after a deposit that has been played
• a shared login
• a self-exclusion request for money already wagered

We correct the balance when we have credited or settled in error, or when a malfunction voids the round. Chargebacks can be treated as fraud under the deposit rules.

Bonuses

Worked example — 30× on slots. A $100 bonus at 30× is $3,000 of slot stakes. At $1 a spin that is 3,000 spins. Until that is done, or you cancel the bonus, the cashier will not pay out.

Worked example — same bonus on live. Live contributes 3%. $3,000 of “slot-equivalent” wagering on live is about $100,000 of live stakes. That is why clearing an offer on blackjack is not a shortcut.

We can change bonus terms. We can refuse or cancel winnings where the play looks designed only to clear wagering. If this page and a cashier banner disagree, this page wins.

Games and bets

The balance is for pokies, table games and live dealer on this brand. It is not a pass-through wallet.

• You may not use the cashier to pay bills or to move money to another payment system.
• Each title’s own rules still apply.
• We can refuse a bet without a reason, refuse a registration, or delete an account for a breach.
• If a round drops mid-way, the server result stands.

Fair play

Other prohibited use

• money, cards or crypto that are not yours

• breaking or probing the site’s security
• using the service to move criminal proceeds

We can investigate, freeze the login, void bets, cancel bonuses and winnings, retain funds and close the account. We can notify the relevant authority. You agree to cover costs, including legal fees, that arise from your breach.

Closing the account

Write from the email on the file to live chat or [email protected]. Ask for written confirmation. Include:

• the registered name and the email on the account
• a clear request to close, not a pause
• whether you want a withdrawal of the remaining real-money balance
